The Art of the Firm 'No': Empowering leaders to set boundaries that stick
Who knew teaching managers how to have difficult conversations could be this rewarding? 🎯 Just wrapped up delivering Professional Managers & Supervisors training across Melbourne and Adelaide, where we turned workplace challenges into workplace wins!
When a no is a qualified no.
The highlight reel? Watching participants’ master:
DEARCC and SBIQ techniques for those tricky conversations (that previously sent people running to hide in the bathroom!)
Time boxing and goal planning (because "I'll do it later" isn't a strategy)
Performance coaching that doesn't involve awkward coffee meetings
Best feedback? "Thoroughly enjoyed", "fantastic - each concept has been beneficial", and my personal favourite: "interesting, engaging & relatable" (see, management training doesn't have to be as dry as last week's toast!)
Special thanks to the client who trusted me to bring this program to life. And to all the participants who rated it "highly applicable" - you're proof that great leaders aren't born, they're trained (and entertained, if I'm doing my job right! 😉)
P.S. If your workplace has more elephants in the room than a safari park, or if your managers think "constructive feedback" means complimenting someone's shoes before delivering bad news – [you know where to find me]!
